Tarsha Gale

Executive Branch Director - Southeast Michigan, Detroit, Flint

Tarsha brings over 20 years’ experience in various roles within child and family services. She started her social services career in prevention services, has lived experience supporting youth aging out of foster care, has experience licensing and training foster families, and has contributed to the development and success of programming in leadership roles. Her unwavering commitment to integrity, empathy, and curiosity drives her passion for developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by families and children in SE Michigan. Tarsha firmly believes everyone can thrive with proper support, love, and resources. As she serves, Tarsha seeks to embody the spirit of compassion and empowerment, following Jesus’ example by inviting, serving, and empowering others to reach their full potential.

Foster Care Supervisor - Detroit, Southeast Michigan

Jennifer has honed her skills in addressing complex social issues and helping those in need. She has a master’s degree in psychology and over seven years’ experience advocating and supporting vulnerable children and families within the foster care system, providing support services, and making critical decisions in the children’s best interests. Her efforts extend beyond helping families as she volunteers at homeless shelters and nursing homes, providing meals, clothing, and fruit. Jennifer exemplifies the values of empathy, resilience, and dedication, embodying the true spirit of social work and social service.

Missy Parker-Miller

Missy Parker-Miller

Community & Church Engagement Specialist - Detroit, Flint, Southeast Michigan

Missy has served in numerous roles with Bethany for two decades. She agrees with Bethany’s motto that “family changes everything” and works to positively impact the lives of the vulnerable children and families she serves. Missy and her husband are foster and adoptive parents with three biological children, four adopted children, and 10 grandchildren. She doesn’t view her work at Bethany as a job but as a ministry that brings her tremendous joy.

Nikole Granett

Nikole Granett

Foster Care Adoption Supervisor - Detroit, Flint, Southeast Michigan

Nikole has over four years’ child welfare experience and has experience in licensing, intake, and adoption. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Wayne State University. Nikole is committed to helping children find their forever families who will give them the love, support, and advocacy they need to help them grow into the best version of themselves.

Quinette Bowman, LLPC

Child Welfare Program Director - Detroit, Flint, Southeast Michigan

Quinette is skilled at developing innovative programs that address the mental health needs and spiritual well-being of the communities she serves. She believes it’s essential to recognize and respect the diversity of beliefs and perspectives within the community while finding common ground to work toward collective healing and well-being. Quinette has extensive experience in the field, including various certifications and a master’s degree in mental health counseling. Her ability to integrate the love of Christ into her work enables her to approach her clients with empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of their worth and potential for growth.
