Dr. Kay Ramsey
Executive Branch Director - La Mirada
Dr. Kay Ramsey, Ph.D. joined Bethany in 2019 as the Executive Branch Director for Southern California overseeing offices in Camarillo, La Mirada, and Riverside. As a former foster youth and adoptee, Dr. Ramsey has a personal commitment to GOD in being a good steward of HIS work as she has triumphed beyond adversity throughout her life. As a transformational leader and visionary, Dr. Ramsey brings 20 years of experience in social services. Her business acumen, strategic planning and clinical expertise as a Marriage and Family Therapist is truly an asset for Bethany. Dr. Kay Ramsey successfully completed her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Non-profit Leadership. She also has a dual master’s degree with receiving her MA from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Master in Business Administration. Dr. Ramsey’s post-doc research focuses on social change initiatives for underserved populations in areas of foster care, emancipated youth and social justice. Her plan is also to broaden this scholarship in various demographics while seeking best practices from a global perspective.
Dr. Jennifer Quinn
Program Director - Riverside
Jennifer Quinn joined Bethany Christian Services in 2017 and holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Over the last 20 years, she has dedicated her time to helping children and supporting families in their foster care and adoption journeys. Jennifer is a native Californian and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Office Manager - Riverside
Rosa has twelve years of experience working in foster care and adoption in the capacity of Intake Coordinator, Family Development and currently as the Office Manager. Rosa also provides CPR/First Aid classes as she is an EMS certified instructor & mentor. She enjoys traveling, spending time watching her ten year old daughter play volleyball and spending quality family time with her husband, daughter, and two adult sons on the weekends. Rosa is a spiritual person that believes that without God nothing is possible.
Foster Care Case Manager Supervisor - Riverside
Erik Murillo has been a social worker for over 15 years. He earned his master’s degree in educational counseling and enjoys offering positive support and services to children and families. Erik has lived in Southern California his entire life.
Foster Care Case Manager - Riverside
Livier Rocha joined Bethany Christian Services in 2017, bringing nine years of experience working with foster care. She earned her master’s degree in school counseling from Loma Linda University. Livier loves spending time with her family and dog, as well as traveling.
Adoption Specialist MSW/MA - Riverside
Sao Thao joined Bethany Christian Services in 2018 bringing on 12 years of experience working in foster and adoption care. She earned her master’s degree in social work from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Sao enjoys relaxing with her family and reading. She also likes hiking or walking in the area beaches or landscapes of San Diego. She hopes to assist as many families as she can through the process of becoming wonderful resource parents.
Adoption Specialist/Foster Care Case Manager - Riverside
Kimberly Lemos joined Bethany Christian Services in 2018 as a Pregnancy Counselor in our Adoption program and is now an Adoption Specialist in our Foster Care program. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Azusa Pacific University. Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing at home or on the beach. She feels honored and privileged to have the opportunity to go through the journey of becoming resource parent(s) with many families. She loves being a part of a memorable adventure filled with love and faith.
Foster Care Case Manager - Riverside
Lucy received her master’s degree in 1990, & has worked as a preschool teacher, Foster Care social worker, Emergency Response CSW with San Bernardino County as well as a social worker representing Minor’s counsel, also in San Bernardino County. Her passion has always been to improve and enrich the lives of abused and neglected children and providing support to the families who care for these children. On a personal note, she is married with two daughters (ages 19 and 15), has two dogs and two rabbits (her 19- year- old wants to be a vet!). Lucy loves hiking in the mountains and travelling to Canada and France to visit family. In her words, “I am very excited and proud to be a new team member with Bethany Christian Services!”
