There's hope in your future

As a single foster mom, Rebecca knows there’s only so much of her to go around. Between full-time work and the various appointments kids have when they’re in care, Rebecca finds that fostering teen girls is a good fit for her.

The three teens in her home can do a lot for themselves, which is a different experience than fostering younger kids who need close supervision. And Rebecca makes it work with strong support from her family and church. It’s important to her that the girls have a network of people they can rely on, especially as they prepare to live independently in a few years.

Rebecca’s calling is clear to invest in the next generation. “The impact you can make is to show teens: 'You’re worthy of love. You’re worthy of having someone be part of your life. There’s hope in your future.’”
