Mark Unger
Regional Branch Director - Lancaster
Mark has over 20 years of experience working in Child Welfare. He has been a Branch Director Bethany since January of 2009. Mark has a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership; a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work; and an Associate’s Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. Prior to coming to Bethany, Mark served in various positions relating to Foster Care over a 10-year period including roles in recruitment; writing Family Profiles for Foster Families and providing Case Management for children in Foster Care. More recently, Mark has also served for nine years on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Council for Children Youth and Family Services (PCCYFS); Other board and organizational leadership committees include Ambassadors for Hope and The Grape Leaf Empowerment Center. Jamie Minick, MA, LPC
Assistant Branch Director, MA, LPC - Lancaster
Jamie Minick serves as the Assistant Branch Director for Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Jamie holds degrees in Psychology and Counseling and is a licensed professional counselor. She has been serving in child welfare for over 20 years. Jamie also cares for clients in Bethany’s Counseling Services Program. She values Bethany’s ability to bring faith into the services being provided and ensuring that all those she encounters recognize their value.

Cheryl Walters
Psychologist, MS - Lancaster
Cheryl is a licensed psychologist, certified Theraplay therapist, and a registered clinician with ATTACh (Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment). She has designed, implemented, provided services, and fulfilled the role of supervisory/consulting psychologist in a specialized treatment program for children/adolescents and their parents/families with diagnoses associated with reactive attachment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and developmental trauma disorder. At Bethany since 2013, Cheryl is providing outpatient psychotherapy, parent support groups, parent consultations, and trainings for parents and professionals. She is also the consulting psychologist for attachment and trauma issues for clinical services.

Dawn L. Tluczek
Church & Donor Relations Liaison - Lancaster
Dawn has worked for the past 30 years in a variety of positions, all culminating with the position she recently accepted with Bethany Lancaster as the Donor and Church Relations Liaison. She has worked in operations, sales and customer engagement while producing creative and lasting events like the Lititz Fire & Ice Festival. She worked recently for the Lancaster Barnstormers and created the very popular Faith on the Field program that incorporated the baseball players and guests that enjoyed chapel together and a variety of activities to create a life-changing experience. Dawn and her family live in Hempfield and are very involved in their community, schools and church. They enjoy time visiting with family & friends and working on their home together. Their family are members at Mission Church and Dawn volunteers with several committee's and boards including: The Executive Team for Leukemia/Lymphoma Society Light the Night/Big Climb; Lancaster County Career & Tech General Advisory Committee; Lancaster Bible College Sports Advisory Team; Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Team; Red Rose Connections; Lancaster Networking Group; VP of Marketing & Communications with ABWA-LAEN; the Mission Church Leadership Team for Go Beyond; Polka Dot Powerhouse; Northern Lancaster Chamber; Volunteer Coordinator/Event Chair for Centerville Elementary PTO; and the Lancaster Liederkranz.

Doreen Bishop
ADOPTS Therapist - Lancaster
As a therapist, Doreen supports families in their adoption journeys and creates a safe place for children who were adopted or in foster care to grow and heal. At Bethany since 2011, she feels blessed to work in an organization where she can combine her Christian faith with her professional career. Doreen and her husband are joyfully raising three children.

Heather Stottlemyre Tye
Therapy Supervisor, Domestic Foster Care, MDiv - Lancaster
Heather has served as a foster parent and worked with families through foster care and pastoral ministry for over ten years. She is driven to see brokenness restored and healing released in anyone God brings her way through trauma-informed therapy and prayer. Heather and her husband have three biological children and love exploring cultures.

Jennifer F. Strasenburgh
Women's Advocate BA - Lancaster
Jennifer has worked with high risk families for over 12 years, connecting them to community resources and helping them navigate life's obstacles. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing and has extensive experience working with Lancaster County Prison, children with an incarcerated parent, and providing community training's regarding trauma and trauma-informed care.

Aleisha I. Clyde
Woman's Advocate - Lancaster
Ally joins Bethany as a Women's Advocate with the ReNew program. She has a bachelor’s degree from American Military University in Child and Family Development, and is finishing her master’s degree in Mental Health and wellness with a focus in Family Dynamics. She has a heart to help all families, and a passion for teaching new parents in any way possible. Ally has two daughters and two fur babies and is excited to be a part of the Bethany Team.

Allyson Spak
Foster Care Case Manager, BA - Lancaster
Allyson has over five years experience working with children and adolescents with both mental health and behavioral health needs. She has worked in a variety of settings, including residential programs, school, home-based, clinical, and community outings. Allyson is passionate about helping the children and families she serves get connected with the resources they need.

Carol Hess
Grant Writer, GPC - Lancaster
Carol has been with Bethany since 2005, most recently serving as Regional Grant Writer. Over the course of her tenure, she has provided exceptional support to Regional and Branch Directors, Caseworkers and clients as Executive Assistant and Administrative Assistant for multiple Adoption Programs. Carol is Grant Professional Certified, mission driven, and enjoys working behind the scenes to increase Bethany’s capacity to serve more children and families, making a positive impact on their lives.

Craig M. Gehosky
Family Resource Development Specialist - Lancaster
Craig has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked in Human Services for over 20 years, 10 years of which has been in a variety of roles in foster care and adoption services. He has provided case management, reunification, and served in management roles before joining Bethany. In addition, Craig has held several clinical roles providing Mental Health Professional services for Family Based and within group homes for children experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Helping support underprivileged people has been a driving force throughout his career and he sees Bethany as a profound way to further this goal. During his free time Craig enjoys connecting with nature through hiking, kayaking, and biking as well as playing guitar and enjoying time in the company of friends and family.

Jessica Armato
Adoption Worker, MPA - Lancaster
Jessica has been working in the field of adoption for Bethany Christian Services since February 2001. She is also an adoptive mother, having adopted her daughter from China in 2005.
Kiley Fisher
Parent Advocate, BA - Lancaster
Kiley has worked as a pregnancy counselor for over 12 years and it’s been an honor to walk through the decision-making process with so many men and women. She is humbled by the loving and unselfish choices these individuals make for their children and is passionate about her work and helping people in need.
