Cultural Competence

This course offers an introduction to the definition of poverty in the United States and the concept of absolute versus relative poverty, as well as an examination of biases and stereotypes in regard to the social construct of race. Bethany’s foster care team will also take a brief look at some of the cultures represented in Indiana.

Discover Bethany Adoption

Adoption can be an amazing way to enlarge your family. Come and join us for a casual meeting to discuss Bethany Christian Services’ adoption services, processes, and requirements. You will also have time to ask questions of Bethany specialists and other Bethany adoptive families. We find that, when possible, it is most beneficial for husband and wife to both be present. This is a series of Resource and Adoptive Training (RAPT) classes that takes place on August 4th from 6pm to 9pm and also Monday August 10th - 13th, from 6pm-9pm each day. Completion of all classes is required for licensure and can be attended at different times if necessary.
