Meet The Team

Amy Devinney
Executive Branch Director - Western Pennsylvania, Meadville
Amy has almost two decades of non-profit leadership experience in child welfare and behavioral health, all in service to children and families with unique needs throughout Western PA. She serves as a branch board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western PA. Amy has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She and her husband have four daughters, one granddaughter, and three rescued huskies. She enjoys traveling, walking, reading, live music, and attempting new recipes.

Amanda Wilbur
Foster Care Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Amanda joined Bethany Christian Services in May 2019. She has always had a passion for vulnerable children and families. She has participated in several mission trips; her favorite trip being to Haiti. Amanda completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio Northern University in 2018. In addition, Amanda completed her master's degree in Social Work from Edinboro University in 2020. Amanda lives with her husband, Jason, and their two cats, Chester and Gracie.

Andrea Reiterman
Post Permanency Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Andrea joined Bethany in November of 2020 as a Post Permanency Worker. She was inspired to work with adoptions due to my previous jobs working with children and families. Many of the children she was working with had been adopted, or legal guardianship given to family members, but few had the needed services to navigate the system to meet their needs. She has experience in providing therapy for children and families in various settings within the home and community settings for the past 25 years. Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University, a Master’s of Social Work from Widener University and a License of Social Work in PA.

Diane Gieraltowski
Post Permanency Supervisor - Western Pennsylvania
Diane joined Bethany in May 2021 as the post permanency supervisor. She has spent 20 years working with children and families in foster care and adoption. It has been a passion of hers to see children in a permanent placement. She has worked in the public and private adoption arena. Diane earned her master’s degree in social work with an emphasis on child welfare from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001.

Juliana Means
Foster Care Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Juliana Means joined Bethany Christian Services in 2017. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. Juliana works in the foster care department as a case manager and oversees the SWAN Units of Service. She enjoys working with and supporting children and families going through the foster care process.
Michelle Matthews
Foster Care Supervisor - Western Pennsylvania
Michelle Matthews has been working in the foster/adoption field for more than 10 years and with Bethany since 2008. She enjoys working with children and families to help them through the foster care process. Michelle is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Stephanie Kish
Foster Care Family Resource Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Stephanie joined Bethany in 2020. She has a degree in Child Development and Family Studies. She believes family is one of God’s greatest blessings. She has been a foster parent for many years and grew her family through adoption. She volunteers in her community to serve children and families in crisis. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes six children and three dogs.

Adrianne Ferguson
Refugee Resettlement Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Adrianne joined the Bethany family in the winter of 2022. She grew up in Washington, DC and has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from George Mason University. She has been an advocate and volunteer for our Afghan Allies both at home and abroad. In her free time she enjoys being a photographer, and her favorite subjects are her family, giant dogs and Cape Cod.

Ahmad Edris Naderi
Refugee Family Strengthening Program Support Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Ahmad Edris Naderi joined the Bethany team in May 2023. He graduated in 2016 from software engineering department of computer science. He came to USA in November 2021.

Ainsley E. Robinson
Safe Families Church Engagement Coordinator - Western Pennsylvania
Ainsley joined the Bethany Team in 2023 as the Safe Families Church Engagement Coordinator. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2022 with her bachelor’s degree in Ministry to Victims of Sexual Exploitation. Prior to Bethany, she has worked in advocating for women and children who have experienced domestic violence in the Greater Pittsburgh Area and has worked in fighting against sex trafficking in Seattle, WA. She has a passion for helping others find love and healing through Christ. She is looking forward to connecting and working alongside the local community while at Bethany. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors, rock climb, hike, create; and spend time with her dog Milo!

Alexsis Porter
Foster Care Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Alexsis joined the Bethany team in 2021 as a Pregnancy Counselor and Foster Care Case Manager. Alexsis completed her master’s degree in Social Work at Case Western Reserve University in 2018. Alexsis has a long history of supporting children and families through the child welfare process. Alexsis’ passion is to help create safe, loving homes for children and families.

Ally Gatlin
Post Permanency Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Ally joins Bethany as a Post Permanency Specialist. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Ave Maria University in 2018 and when she’s not working, she is a day care teacher. Ally and her husband share two daughters. She was adopted at the age of three from Russia and it's one of her biggest motivators for serving the families at Bethany.

Amanda Popik
Homebuilders Supervisor - Western Pennsylvania
Amanda joined Bethany in 2023 as the homebuilders supervisor, after spending several years working in community-based mental health services. She has a passion for working with families and children of all ages who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or crisis that require support to achieve their personal goals. Amanda graduated from Robert Morris University with a Master of Science in instructional leadership. She looks forward to using her passion to assist families in need and make a difference in the lives of others. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending her time with her family, including her husband and two daughters, as well as several pets.

Annelise O'Neill
Retention & Training Coordinator, Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Foster Care - Western Pennsylvania
Annelise joined Bethany Christian Services in 2024 and serves as the retention & training coordinator for the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program. Prior to working at Bethany, Annelise worked for several years at an office of refugee resettlement (ORR) children’s shelter. She also has experience in foster care training and recruiting, and most recently has served as a service coordinator/immigrant & refugee liaison for families in the Pittsburgh region. Annelise has her bachelor’s degree in advertising & public relations from Pennsylvania State University.

Bianca Sasin
Office Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Bianca joined Bethany Christian Services in the fall 2021 as an Administrative Assistant. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she earned her Associate Degree from Community College of Allegheny County. Bianca has many years of experience working in supportive office roles. Prior to coming to Bethany she worked for a local church coordinating and providing childcare for ministries, where she first had the opportunity to serve Foster and Adoptive families. Bianca loves being part of an organization that is doing God’s work! Her greatest blessings in life are her two daughters and wonderful husband.
Elizabeth Ringler-Jayanthan
Ref & Imm Svcs Therapist - Western Pennsylvania
Elizabeth joined the Bethany team in 2021. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as the Behavioral Health Advisor in the Afghan Resilience Program. She has worked primarily with survivors of forced migration including refugees, asylum seekers, unaccompanied immigrant children and survivors of human trafficking. Elizabeth is a graduate of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma (HPRT) Global Mental Health Certificate program and is also a Doctoral candidate in Barry University's DSW program.

Grace Fan
Case Management Coordinator, Center for Afghan Resilience - Western Pennsylvania
Grace graduated from Carlow University with a master’s in social work. She’s worked with children between the ages of 6-11 with behavioral problems and facilitated many groups sessions with children and parents. She enjoys cooking, taking walks, and spending time with friends and family.

Heather A. Starr
SWAN Prep Child Profile Social Worker - Western Pennsylvania
Heather Joined Bethany in 2021, as our SWAN Prep Child Profile Social Worker. Heather previously worked at Children and Youth Services, and is passionate about ensuring the safety of children. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal State San Marcos in 2011, and her master’s degree in human services from University of the Rockies in 2012. Through Heather’s employment at CYS Heather learned about Bethany Christian Services and wanted to be a part of organization that put God first, to help children. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 dogs, and 3 cats, and knitting, crocheting, and reading.

Janet Jasunas
Homebuilders Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Janet has over 20 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and children from low income families. She earned an associate’s in business management and a bachelor’s in psychology from Governor’s State University. Janet moved to Western Pennsylvania from Chicago and remains an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. She’s passionate about helping people and making a positive difference

Juliana Geyer
Refugee Resettlement Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Juliana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Spanish with a concentration in peace, conflict, and security from the University of Pittsburgh. Before starting at Bethany, she worked in family reunifications and social services for asylum-seeking families and in a summer program focused on refugee youth. In her free time, she enjoys reading, rock climbing, and being outside.

Lindsay Tracey
Homebuilders Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Lindsay spent many years working in child-serving systems including service coordination for multiple agencies. She’s a graduate of Saint Vincent College. Lindsay is passionate about helping build strong families.

Lori Jones
Administrative Assistant - Western Pennsylvania
Lori joined Bethany in 2024 as an administrative assistant. Prior to joining Bethany, she was an admin for a local chiropractor and orthodontist. Lori is on the board of directors for The Children's Heart Foundation, where she also ran their PA chapter and chaired the Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk for 7 years. She is also an author of children's and women's fiction. Lori is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in communications.

Mallory Jones
Refugee Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Mallory grew up in Houston and North Carolina and has a bachelor’s in social work. In her free time, she enjoys writing short stories, playing tennis, and spending time with the baby she nannied throughout college.

Megan Hennessy
Post Permanency Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Megan joined Bethany Christian Services in April of 2023 as a Post Permanency Specialist. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Family Relations. She has a passion for working with children and families. She is active in her parish as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Catechist, Catechist, and many more positions. She has worked with infants to teenagers and their families in several educational programs. Megan looks forward to working at Bethany supporting and helping families find the resources they need.

Morgan Domencic
Safe Families Coordinator - Western PA - Western Pennsylvania
Morgan joined the Bethany Team in 2023 as the Safe Families Coordinator for Beaver County. She graduated from Geneva College in 2021 with her bachelor’s degree in Social Services. Morgan and her husband have lived in Beaver County since getting married spring of 2021. Prior to Bethany, Morgan worked as a caseworker for Children & Youth Services, where she first had the opportunity to work with children and families and gained knowledge about the child welfare system. Morgan is excited to be a part of Bethany, to engage in her community and most importantly to share the love of Jesus with others. In her free time, Morgan enjoys painting, baking, photography, and swimming.

Moriah List
Community Engagement and Co-Sponsor Developer - Western Pennsylvania
Moriah joined Bethany in 2023 as a Match Grant Caseworker. Prior to this role, Moriah worked in volunteer coordination and refugee outreach services in North Carolina and in Virginia. She received her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses in Government, Sociology, and Global Studies from Liberty University where she also rowed on the crew team. Though she'll miss the warmer weather, she's looking forward to living closer to family, rowing in Pittsburgh, and continuing to aid resettling refugee families as a part of the Bethany team.

Roqia Khalili
Community Support Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Roqia joined the Bethany team in May 2023. Roqia has a bachelor's degree in law from Kabul University in Afghanistan and studied MBA at Bangalore University in Inda. She has worked for the Attorney General's Office of Afghanistan as a prosecutor for 4 years. Roqia has 3 years of experience of teaching in schools and institute of higher education in Afghanistan and United Arab Emirates. She worked with women, girls, and refugees as a human rights advocate and helped them with literacy and their asylum application process. Roqia moved to the US in 2023.

Senna Steward
Refugee Site Supervisor - Western Pennsylvania
Senna joined Bethany Christian Services in the winter of 2022. She holds a BA in French Language and Literature and an MA in French with a specialization in Translation Studies. Prior to joining Bethany, she taught English in France, worked at a local museum, taught at a local high school, and worked in the refugee resettlement field. She looks forward to continuing to support and advocate for refugees in the Pittsburgh area at Bethany Christian Services.

Vanessa Fatur
Safe Families Coordinator & Post Permanency Specialist - Western Pennsylvania
Vanessa joined Bethany in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology from California University of Pennsylvania and master’s in human services concentrating in marriage and family counseling from Liberty University. Vanessa has a history of supporting children and families and experience in providing wraparound services to children. While serving as the scheduling coordinator for Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign, a board member for her community’s local food pantry, she’s also a part-time preschool teacher. Vanessa is excited to work with an organization that puts God first, fosters family relations, and advocates for vulnerable populations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running her son and daughter to all their activities, playing piano, and reading.

Yahya Mangal
Matching Grant Case Manager - Western Pennsylvania
Yahya joined the Bethany in the winter of 2022. He received his BA from faculty of Law and political sciences of Kabul University from Afghanistan. He was born and raised in Afghanistan and moved to United State in 2019. He has worked as a licensed Attorney from Afghanistan Bar Association fore more than 12 years and worked as a Legal Team Leader for Norwegian Refugee Council for 4 years. He enjoys working and helping to serve the community, and is excited to be able to do that with Bethany.
