Regional Director - St. Louis
Christine Corcoran, MSW, LCSW serves as regional director for Bethany Christian Services, working with Missouri, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. Christine brings 26 years of child welfare and advocacy experience where she had the opportunity to develop new programming and shape policies, procedures, and legislation pertaining to children in the foster care system. Christine earned her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri- Columbia and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1997. In her community, Christine has served on the board of the Central Missouri Dream Factory, an advisor to Kappa Kappa Gamma, was the President of the Downtown Optimist Club and most recently coordinated the Putting Kids First Campaign in Boone County which provides $6 million dollars for children’s mental health services.
Dennis E. Harms
Regional Director of Philanthropy – Lower Midwest - Chicago
Dennis joined Bethany in February 2022 after 21 years as a fundraiser and gift officer at his alma mater Trinity Christian College in the Chicago IL area. Born and raised in Iowa and now a long-time Chicago area resident, Dennis is very familiar with the territory he serves. He holds a BA in History and Secondary Education from Trinity. Dennis has a passion for connecting donors to programs and ministries where they can use their resources to make Kingdom impact. In his free time, Dennis enjoys spending time with family, golfing, hiking and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Director of Programs - St. Louis
Kristen joined Bethany Christian Services in 2018 as a clinical supervisor and now serves as the Director of Programs. She has 13 years of experience working with pregnant and parenting women, as well as assisting families in need of crisis care for their children. She is passionate about adoption and has walked alongside women making adoption plans throughout her career. Kristen earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Columbia and became a licensed clinical social worker in 2011. She loves living in South City and trying new restaurants in the area
Director of Branch Operations - St. Louis
Aimee has served on the Bethany team for more than a decade. She has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, a heart for adoption, and a passion for serving the vulnerable in our community. She is a wife and mother of three young boys.
Safe Families for Children Coordinator - St. Louis
Madison Witte joined Bethany Christian Services in 2016. She has a bachelor's degree in child and family development and has experience working with low-income youth and families. Madison's favorite part of her job at Bethany is helping volunteers serve the St. Louis community and share God's love with their neighbors in need. When she's not working, you can probably find her exploring parks and coffee shops in South City with her husband and dogs.
Child and Family Therapist - St. Louis
Kelly is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPC) and has been counseling children and families since 2005. She is especially interested in helping children from "hard places" find safety and security within their loving adoptive families. Kelly has been a classroom teacher, school-based counselor, children's ministry director, summer camp director, and mom.
Adoption Specialist - St. Louis
Karlita is a St. Louis native and holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University. She has a heart for walking alongside potential resource families as they navigate the adoption process.
Regional Specialist serving mid-Missouri - St. Louis
Andy Reynolds joined Bethany Christian Services in 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri, Columbia and her Master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois Chicago. She lives with her husband and son in Jefferson City.
Pregnancy Counselor - St. Louis
Chelsey joined Bethany in January of 2021. She graduated from SLU in 2019 obtaining a Master’s in social work. She has worked with families in the St. Louis area for many years by providing respite services and case management services. She is excited to continue to serve and watch families grow at Bethany. When she is off the clock she enjoys exploring parks and trails in the St. Louis area with her husband and dog.
