Nonyem Nwabuoku-Drayton
Regional Branch Director - Atlanta
Nonyem Drayton is very passionate about serving children and families (all ages) and has been employed by Bethany for over 15 years in various capacities. She has served as Executive Director of the GA Branch since 2009 and as Regional Director since 2013.

Cheryl Williams
Assistant Director of Pre-Permanency - Atlanta
Cheryl received her undergraduate degree in human development from Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC in 1994 and then went on to receive her master’s in social work from Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts in 1996. After completing her graduate studies, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she began her career in the nonprofit world recruiting, training and licensing families to adopt older children and sibling groups. In January 2011, Cheryl joined Bethany Christian Services as the director of State Child Placement Services. In this position, she managed Bethany’s Foster Care program, Foster Care Adoption program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids grant, and other state contracts which included the Child Life Histories program, Foster Parent Education and Advocacy program, and the Homes for Georgia’s Children Inquiry Line. In 2015, Cheryl was promoted to become the Assistant Branch Director of Pre-Permanency Services within the agency. One of Cheryl’s greatest professional achievements occurred in 2014 when she was named the President of the Georgia Association of Licensed Adoption Agencies (GALAA) which is a consortium of licensed child-placing agencies and other practitioners involved in providing adoption-related services and are organized to promote quality and ethical adoption services in the state of Georgia.

Andrea Darden
Executive Assistant - Atlanta
Andrea studied fashion design and merchandising as well as business management and entrepreneurship. Andrea has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than eight years in various capacities, including but not limited to: office administration, event planning, community outreach, training, logistics, project management.
