Residential treatment for adolescent males
Bethany’s Youth with sexual behavior problems (YSBP) program provides a safe and constructive home environment for treatment. Youth work to resolve what impacted them prior to offending. Youth also work to reconcile with their family and the community.
Intake criteria:
Adolescent male, 12-17 years old
Acknowledgement of sexual offense, sexually aggressive behavior, and/or adjudication on Criminal Sexual Conduct or similar charge
IQ of 70 or higher (some exceptions)
Receive benefit from treatment
What you need to know
Costs
A per diem is set for the cost of treatment. Typically, insurance does not cover the cost of residential treatment. The cost is usually covered by local county courts or State Welfare agencies.
Communication
Bethany team members regularly communicate with families and referral sources about progress of the adolescent.
Involvement
Your role as parent is crucial in our treatment process. You’re encouraged to participate in all aspects of the treatment program. Adolescents with active parents have higher success rates in the program and generally have shorter lengths of stay.
What we provide to youth in the program
Youth in the residential treatment program receive the following services:
Psychological assessment
Group, individual, and family therapy
On-campus public school
Psychiatric medication management
Living quarters with a community kitchen, dining area, and living room
Advanced video surveillance to improve safety and supervision
