POST-ADOPTION SERVICES
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.
— Philippians 1:9
Support along the journey
“We knew we wanted to adopt an older child. Their need for family at that age is so great. They know they’re close to aging out [from the foster care system], but they don’t have that family, that safety. I remember when we were praying about it, we knew as long as we followed what God wanted us to do, we were going to be fine.”
— Della Lago, who, along with husband Robert, adopted teenager Lexi

Hope for every child: Robert and Della's story
By the age of 13, Lexi had already experienced removal from her family, separation from her siblings, multiple foster placements (involving multiple disruptions to her education), and placement in a group home.
Meanwhile, Robert and Della knew they wanted to adopt an older child. They were praying and preparing, taking steps with Bethany to adopt.
Adoption changed the lives of all three, giving Lexi the love and support of a family and Robert and Della an answer to their prayers.
