Strengthening families from the beginning
Bethany is expanding in-home support for families during pregnancy and a child’s earliest years, helping parents build strong relationships and create healthy, nurturing environments where children can thrive.
Programs like these have shown that 92% of participating parents report stronger parenting skills and relationships, while approximately 90% of children achieve strong developmental outcomes.
Preventing exploitation and supporting survivors
Bethany is expanding services designed to help protect young people who are vulnerable to exploitation through prevention, early intervention and support for survivors of trafficking.
Building on Bethany’s existing work, where 87% of trafficked children have been reunified with family, this expansion will serve youth survivors while creating a model that can grow into additional communities and states.
Mobilizing churches to support foster families
Strong foster families need strong communities around them. Bethany is partnering with churches in areas where our presence is growing to build networks of caregiver support, including planned respite care that can help families remain strong for the long haul.
Bethany foster families already experience 50% higher retention than the national average, and this initiative will work to strengthen that impact by establishing new caregiver homes and providing more than 80 days of respite care each month.
