Kristen Schlee

Pregnancy Counselor - Fredericksburg

Kristen began her career as a pregnancy counselor in 1997. She spent the next 18 years in ministry and was honored to join the Bethany staff in June 2015 as an expectant parent advocate. She provides guidance and support for parents facing unplanned pregnancies while helping them explore all of their options and connecting them with community resources. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with additional counseling certifications through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Adoption Specialist, LBSW - Fredericksburg

Elizabeth has been working with Bethany Christian Services since 2009. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and a proud Spartan. Elizabeth has worked out of Bethany offices both in Michigan and Virginia. During Elizabeth’s career, it has been her privilege to work with expectant parents and birth parents, newborns and children being adopted out of foster care, as well as adoptive parents. As a supervisor, Elizabeth continues to work with Bethany clients in addition to supporting Bethany caseworkers. It is her goal each day, along with every Bethany staff person, to manifest the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by protecting and enhancing the lives of children and families through quality social services.

Kristin O'Dell

Kristin O'Dell

International Adoption Specialist, MSW, LSW - Fredericksburg

Kristin has served with Bethany since 2003. Her interest in the ministry began when she interned at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. She worked with Bethany staff to support women making adoption plans for their children. Her passion for the ministry has only grown as she has seen how children thrive in a loving, safe, and permanent family. Her experiences with Bethany have led her around the world to China and Ethiopia. She is humbled that the Lord has allowed her to play a role in supporting parents and children as they grow into families. Kristin has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work and is a licensed social worker in Virginia. She is blessed to be Ben’s wife and Norah and Brea’s momma.
