Silvia Contreras

Post Release Services Family Reunification Program Supervisor - Dallas

Silvia received a master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University and a bachelor’s in sociology from the University of North Texas. She joined Bethany as the post-release services family reunification program supervisor in 2022. Silvia has worked in public education as an elementary teacher and with state- and federal-funded agencies as a case manager to vulnerable populations. Silvia enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working on puzzles.

Georgina N. Arreguin

Lead Case Manager - Dallas

Georgina is a dedicated professional in child placement management. With previous experience as an ORR senior lead case manager/program mentee and a URM foster case manager, she has a strong background in developing compliant programs, managing budgets, and supporting foster children. Georgina’s B.S. in psychology from Dallas Baptist University enhances her ability to provide comprehensive care and support. She’s a wife and mother of four sons and enjoys working out as a hobby.

Amanda Portillo

Amanda Portillo

PRS Intervention Specialist - Dallas

Amanda has extensive knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and populations. Her experience includes work with the foster care system, ABA therapy, crisis intervention, rehabilitation with the blind and visually impaired, trauma work, and mental health disabilities. Amanda graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a bachelor’s in psychology and has since dedicated her career to serving vulnerable populations. She’s currently seeking her master’s in counseling at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Rebeca Aguirre

Quality Assurance and Intake Coordinator - Dallas

Rebeca received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She joined Bethany in 2018 as a licensed foster parent in the short-term immigrant foster care program. After seeing the life-changing impact the program made, she embraced a new journey within Bethany as an intake and quality assurance coordinator, continuing to serve vulnerable children within our communities. When Rebecca isn’t making a difference in children’s lives, she’s enjoying time with her family at Disney World.

Sandra C. Olages Banuelos

Sandra C. Olages Banuelos

PRS Case Manager - Dallas

Sandra’s background in the social service field deepened her desire to help others reclaim hope and build potential. She’s worked with underprivileged people in recovery homes, group homes, a mental health institute, and a foster agency, in addition to volunteering as a counselor at a suicide crisis center. She enjoys walking alongside vulnerable populations and contributing to their wellbeing. She loves to cook and partnering with her husband in ministry around the U.S., demonstrating the love and compassion of Jesus as they help facilitate restoration to ministers and healing to people in need.

PRS Case Support Worker - Dallas

Ana joined Bethany in 2023 with a background in servicing at-risk and vulnerable populations of refugees, special needs, the elderly, and the homeless youth. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of North Texas at Dallas. Ana hopes to further her experience and education in the humanitarian field to extend her passion in helping others, while also serving the children reunified with their families through Bethany. In her free time, Ana enjoys working out, dancing, reading, trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with family.

Emelen M. Sanchez

Emelen M. Sanchez

PRS Case Support Worker - Dallas

Emelen received an associate degree from Tarrant County College and hopes to continue her education in social work. She’d like to field in children and families as that has always been her passion. Emelen has worked in the public education system with children, parents, and staff. Her goal is to develop a partnership with a non-profit like Bethany and her church to serve those who are underserved. When not working, Emelen enjoys volunteering at her church, listening to podcasts, eating Asian food, and spending time with family.
