Branch Director - Columbia
Tricia began working with Bethany Christian Services in South Carolina as a graduate student intern and joined the staff in 1998. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in social work from Gordon College in Massachusetts and her Master’s Degree in social work from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Tricia is trained in Prepare and Enrich, TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention), and ADOPTS. She has worked with families in the domestic and international adoption programs and in post adoption. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the South Carolina branch overseeing the work in the Columbia, Greenville and Myrtle Beach offices. Tricia desires to see God glorified and to see His gospel advance as Bethany Christian Services continues to serve children and families. Tricia has been married to Roy since 1992. They have two children, Ellie and Katie.
Adoption Supervisor and Adoption Specialist - Columbia
Lisa began working at Bethany Christian Services as a pregnancy counselor in 2002 while completing her internship for her Master’s Degree in social work from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work also from the University of South Carolina. While working in the pregnancy counselor role Lisa began working with families in the domestic adoption program. Lisa is trained in Prepare and Enrich and Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE). Lisa currently serves as the Adoption Supervisor and Adoption Specialist in the Columbia branch. Lisa sees Bethany as a ministry and feels it is privilege to serve Bethany clients. Lisa has been married to Lee since 1984. They have two children through adoption.
Pregnancy Counselor - Columbia
Rebecca is a new team member with Bethany Christian Services, serving as Pregnancy Counselor for the Columbia Branch. Rebecca completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2016 with a dual major of Christian Counseling and Crisis Counseling. Rebecca served her internship within the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia as a Chaplain Assistant. Rebecca took a position with the National Group Advocate Program serving as a Family Engagement Coordinator and then moved into the role of Certified Investigator for Kinship Care Home Studies for the Department of Social Services. Rebecca has extensive trauma training, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). Rebecca is ecstatic to be working with such a Christ centered group who wrap their work and hearts around biblical principles. Rebecca’s first husband passed away in 2002 and she remarried in 2005 to Peter. Their blended family consists of 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
Office Coordinator - Columbia
Stephanie joined Bethany Christian Services in 2002. She has an Associate of Applied Science degree from Jones County Junior College, Mississippi. She is married, has one daughter and especially enjoys being a Grandma. She loves helping with Bethany’s mission and living in the beautiful south.
