Mark Unger

Mark Unger

Regional Branch Director - Lancaster

Mark has over 20 years of experience working in Child Welfare. He has been a Branch Director Bethany since January of 2009. Mark has a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership; a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work; and an Associate’s Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. Prior to coming to Bethany, Mark served in various positions relating to Foster Care over a 10-year period including roles in recruitment; writing Family Profiles for Foster Families and providing Case Management for children in Foster Care. More recently, Mark has also served for nine years on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Council for Children Youth and Family Services (PCCYFS); Other board and organizational leadership committees include Ambassadors for Hope and The Grape Leaf Empowerment Center. Mark’s guiding verse is Matthew 6:33. Seek first His Kingdom . . .

Jamie Minick, MA, LPC

Jamie Minick, MA, LPC

Assistant Branch Director, MA, LPC - Lancaster

Jamie Minick serves as the Assistant Branch Director for Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Jamie holds degrees in Psychology and Counseling and is a licensed professional counselor. She has been serving in child welfare for over 20 years. Jamie also cares for clients in Bethany’s Counseling Services Program. She values Bethany’s ability to bring faith into the services being provided and ensuring that all those she encounters recognize their value.

Jennifer Cummings

Jennifer Cummings

Satellite Branch Director MS, LPC - State College

Jennie Cummings serves as foster care and foster care adoption supervisor for the Central Pennsylvania region. In addition, she works with expectant parents through the pregnancy counseling program, and serves a small number of clients through the counseling department. Jennie's educational background is in human development and counseling, and she has over 10 years of experience working with various populations within the human services sector.

Jessica Broadhead

Jessica Broadhead

Resource Family Development Specialist - State College

Jessica joined Bethany in 2019 and serves as the foster care family worker in the State College office. Jessica received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University in 2013. She enjoys her role equipping and supporting families on their journeys through foster care and foster care adoption.

Kaitlin Eberhart

Kaitlin Eberhart

Foster Care Case Manager BS - State College

Kaitlin has worked at Bethany since November of 2017. She is the foster care case manager for the State College office. Kaitlin also completes Child Preparation and Child Specific Recruitment units through the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network. Kaitlin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies as well as a minor in Business and the Liberal Arts from the Pennsylvania State University. She has experience working with children and families as she taught at a preschool for three years prior to joining the Bethany team.

Miranda Fuller

Miranda Fuller

Intake and Matching Specialist - State College

Miranda joined Bethany Christian Services in 2016 as a Foster Care and Post Permanency Case Manager. In 2018, she transitioned into the role as the Intake and Matching Specialist. Miranda earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently in the process of finishing her master’s degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University.

Rebecca Baughman

Rebecca Baughman

Post Adoption Caseworker - State College

Rebecca Baughman works with post-adoptive families at Bethany Christian Services. She earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State in sociology and her Master’s degree in law, mediation and conflict resolution from University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, U.K. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing board games, and traveling.

Robin Regan

Robin Regan

Adoption Specialist LSW, MSSW - State College

Robin serves as a counselor, foster parent trainer, and domestic adoption caseworker for Bethany Christian Services. She has a Bachelors degree and a Masters degrees in Social Work and has over 14 years of experience in foster care and adoption. Robin considers it a great privilege to come alongside adoptive and foster families and offer hope, understanding, and practical help.

Tina Wheeler

Tina Wheeler

Office Manager - State College

Tina Wheeler has worked for over 15 years in foster care and foster care adoption. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients, as well as behind the scenes. The one thing that has stayed the same is Tina’s compassion and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure children and families receive the support they need.

Post Permanency Specialist - State College

Emily joined Bethany Christian Services in 2020. Emily has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Counseling from Messiah College. Prior to working at Bethany, Emily worked as a Foster Care Case Manager with a child services agency in Rhode Island. Emily grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Rhode Island after graduating from college. Emily is very excited to once again be living in Pennsylvania! When she is not working, Emily loves to spend her time outdoors and caring for her kitties, Sterling and Lana, and her puppy, Ollie!

Margaret R. Phelps

Margaret R. Phelps

Post-Permanency Specialist BSW - State College

Meg joined Bethany Christian Services in fall of 2019. Previously she worked as the Post Adoption Service Coordinator for GuideSpring, a counseling agency in Milton, PA for 2 years. Before that she worked for a county children and youth agency for more than 10 years, first as a foster care caseworker and then as the foster family coordinator where she approved, trained, and supported the agencies foster families. Meg has a degree in social work from Bloomsburg University and is a Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner. As an adoptive parent herself, Meg understands the ups and downs of the adoption journey and the need for a support along the way. Meg and her husband live in Mifflinburg, PA. When not working Meg enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and their three collies.
