Natara Velazquez

TVAP Case Manager - Raleigh

Natara attained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. After obtaining her first degree Natara spent six years in law enforcement. She spent four years on the patrol division and two years as an investigator in the Special Victims Unit managing cases primarily involving sexual assault and child abuse. It was there that Natara gained an immense passion for human trafficking awareness and advocacy. Natara is committed to her transition into social work and servicing this community that is many times helpless, shunned and overlooked. “Beauty from ashes” Isaiah 61:3 NIV

Cassie Casabona

HS/PRS Regional Supervisor - Raleigh

Cassie is originally from Michigan and received her Masters of Social Work from Andrews University. She has spent the last 8 years working with children and families in the non-profit sector. Her experience is in the field of mental health, childhood trauma, and working with children who have recently arrived to the United States. She has a passion for others and advocating that everyone's voice is heard. Cassie also enjoys team development and working with her peers to create the best work environment for all.

Jessica M. Gallo

Post Release Services Case Manager - Raleigh

Jess holds a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University in Social Work and in Spanish Language and Literature. Over the past five years, Jess has provided a combination of case management and educational services to reduce risk factors for families with children between ages 5-17. Jess finds joy in bridging the gap between multilingual, immigrant families and community services as well as empowering individuals to use their own voice to foster change. Jess's charisma and passion for the serving profession joined the Bethany team in March, 2021.

HS/PRS Case Manager - Raleigh

Lauren obtained her bachelor's degree in Spanish and Global Studies from Appalachian State University. Since graduating from university, Lauren has cultivated her passion for serving her community and advocating for immigrant and refugee populations. Through her case management, Lauren strives to empower her clients, educate her community, and provide access to local resources to families and youth.

Sara Bukowski

Sara Bukowski

Clinical Counseling Supervisor - Raleigh

Sara has been with Bethany Christian Services since March 2017. Sara has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years in residential, community, and outpatient settings. Sara is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NC#9996) and Qualified Supervisor (QS132077) for the state of North Carolina. She specializes in trauma, attachment, mood disorders, and parenting strategies. During her time at Bethany, Sara has worked with adoptive families in the Domestic Infant Adoption program, supervised the Trafficking Victims Assistance program, and provided counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
