Meagan Henry

Pregnancy Counselor, MA - Raleigh

Meagan graduated from Liberty University with her master's degree in human services, marriage and family counseling. She has been working at Bethany Christian Services in the Raleigh office since May 2015. As a pregnancy counselor, Meagan works with those who are experiencing unexpected pregnancies and would like to consider the life-affirming options available to them. Her area of experience is in helping to educate expectant parents about parenting and adoption, encouraging them to make strength-based decisions, and working with those who experience any grief and loss post-placement. Meagan also plays a part in helping all those involved in the adoption triad communicate effectively, setting up clients with outside resources, and doing community outreach where she can help others understand the joy of adoption.

Sara Bukowski

Sara Bukowski

Lead Social Worker, MA, LCMHC - Raleigh

Sara has worked at Bethany since March 2017. Sara is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (NC #9996) and has been serving children, adolescents, adults, and families in various mental health settings since 2005. She has provided counseling assistance for issues including depression, anxiety, child behavioral problems, adoption and attachment-related issues, women's issues, trauma & PTSD, parenting skills, pre-marital & marital counseling, and issues related to domestic violence & sexual assault. Sara is an NC-rostered clinician to treat trauma symptoms in children through Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has extensive training and experience in teaching effective parenting skills and employs a family systems model. She is also trained in administering Prepare & Enrich, a pre-marital/marriage assessment for couples. During her time at Bethany, Sara has worked with adoptive families in the Domestic Infant Adoption program and has provided individual and family therapy services.
