Meet The Team
Branch Director - Charlotte
Terri has been with Bethany for more than 10 years serving first as the director of our East Tennessee offices and Virginia office. She also started the Safe Families for Children™ ministry in eastern Tennessee. Terri is a native North Carolinian and began working in the human services field in the western part of the state before joining Bethany in 2005. She has had previous experience working with child abuse and neglect, foster care and adoption, residential group home care including sexual offenders, outpatient therapy, and school counseling. Terri’s passion is being a visionary, growing programs, and expanding God’s Kingdom through serving children and families in need.
Post Release Services Intake & QA Coordinator - Charlotte
Kerstin has a passion for the overall well-being and mental health of children and vulnerable populations. She obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida in 2012. Her previous roles have been supporting and educating foster and adoptive families. She is currently supporting the Post Release Services team as the Intake and Quality Assurance Coordinator.
UC Transitional Foster Care Program Director - Charlotte
Kim joined the Bethany team in 2018. She has worked over 15 years in the non-profit sector serving children and families in need. Kim believes that all children are valuable and deserving of love, safety, and security. She is thankful to be a voice and advocate for vulnerable children.
Foster Care Licensing Supervisor - Charlotte
Robyn has worked in the field of Social Services for the past 15 years individuals with disabilities, foster families, adoptive families, and families who are in financial crisis. Robyn was a pregnancy counselor in the Charlotte office during her first three years at Bethany, working alongside expectant parents to provide education about their options. Now she currently works with foster care families. Robyn feels honored that she is able to work with families choosing to foster children.
Jessica M. Gallo
Post Release Services Case Manager - Charlotte
Jess holds a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University in Social Work and in Spanish Language and Literature. Over the past five years, Jess has provided a combination of case management and educational services to reduce risk factors for families with children between ages 5-17. Jess finds joy in bridging the gap between multilingual, immigrant families and community services as well as empowering individuals to use their own voice to foster change. Jess's charisma and passion for the serving profession joined the Bethany team in March, 2021.
Lauren E. Holt
HS/PRS Case Manager - Charlotte
Lauren obtained her bachelor's degree in Spanish and Global Studies from Appalachian State University. Since graduating from university, Lauren has cultivated her passion for serving her community and advocating for immigrant and refugee populations. Through her case management, Lauren strives to empower her clients, educate her community, and provide access to local resources to families and youth.
