Safe Families for Children Info Meeting
Webinar URL: by registration only
Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. When families are experiencing a crisis, a Safe Families Host Family can temporarily welcome children into their home for short-term overnight care. Other volunteers provide support to parents and help them take steps towards stability. Our mission is to host vulnerable children and create extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. During this information meeting, you’ll learn about our key volunteer roles of Host Family, Family Friend, Family Coach, Resource Friends, and Ministry Leads. You’ll learn about the process to get involved in Safe Families and the key differences between foster care and Safe Families for Children.
