Opportunity Details
Trusted volunteers needed for transporting newly arrived refugee adults and youth to medical appointments, classes, counseling, etc. It's a fun way to meet refugee families while helping in such an important, necessary role. Mileage reimbursement is offered if using your own personal vehicle.
If you are interested in supporting our refugee resettlement program in this way, here are a few important requirements to get started:
*Must be 21 years or older
* Have a clean driving record
*Provide proof of vehicle insurance and valid driver's license
*Have daytime availability for transport requests
*Complete an application and undergo background screenings and safety training
