Brad Keller

Brad Keller

VP Regional Operations - Southwest Michigan

Brad Keller, VP of regional operations in Michigan, has supervised teams at Bethany for more than 26 years. Brad enjoys helping teams build on their individual strengths, negotiating outcomes so everyone knows their role and what is expected of them, moving things in a positive direction, and using humor and joy to fulfill Bethany’s mission of serving vulnerable children and families. He earned his master’s degree in social work and has worked in child welfare, foster care, and adoption since 1995.

Branch Director - Indianapolis

Linda has served at Bethany for over 30 years, currently as Branch Director. She is very passionate about serving children and families and would be pleased to take your call and answer questions you may have about the services the Indianapolis Branch offers.

Amanda Spalding

Amanda Spalding

Adoption Supervisor - Indianapolis

Amanda has been with Bethany for over 10 years working alongside adoptees and adoptive families. She graduated with her Masters in Social Work from IUPUI in 2005 and became licensed as a clinical social worker in 2011. In 2021, she stepped into the role of supervisor and is excited to see the domestic adoption program grow for years to come. She works closely with our pregnancy counselors and adoption specialists to provide compassionate, personalized care to everyone we serve. Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with family (which includes three dogs), camping, traveling, and volunteering with a local Labrador rescue group.

Jennifer E. Phillips

Jennifer E. Phillips

Homebuilder's Supervisor - Indianapolis

Jennifer has been with Bethany and the Homebuilders program for two years. She began serving as a practitioner and transitioned to the supervisor role in 2021. She is learning how to implement and evaluate an evidence-based practice model while adjusting to ongoing opportunities in the family preservation program. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, working out and spending time with her family.

Laura Richards

Foster Care Supervisor - Indianapolis

Laura has been with Bethany since March of 2017, initially serving on staff with the Homebuilders family preservation program and then moving into the domestic foster care program in November of 2017. Laura has been supervising the Indianapolis domestic foster care program since September of 2019. She and her husband relocated from Texas just prior to Laura joining Bethany, where she worked in foster care agency leadership for multiple years. Their granddaughter, who brought them this direction, remains Laura’s favorite use of free-time, along with caring for 3 senior fur babies.

Emily Braughton

Office Coordinator - Indianapolis

Emily oversees many aspects of our branch operations. She’s our “go-to” person in all aspects of anything IT related, HR onboarding, and general administration. Emily’s kind spirit is evident to all of those who know her. She is a devoted wife and mother of two. Outside of the office, she enjoys remodeling projects and decorating her home.

Unaccompanied Children Program Supervisor - Indianapolis

Erika has been serving unaccompanied children since 2015. She graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys reading and exploring the city of Indianapolis.

Joseph Schulz

Joseph Schulz

Director of Donor Engagement - Indianapolis

Joe joined the Bethany team in February 2017. He has been involved in non-profit donor engagement, advocating for child-related causes, for many years after a successful career in the for-profit arena. Joe is passionate about caring for vulnerable children and loves giving people the opportunity to partner with Bethany to change the lives of children in need. He and his wife have three adult children and six grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, travelling, and hanging out with good friends.
