Collaborating on behalf of vulnerable children
More than anything, Bethany believes children deserve to grow up in loving families—not institutions. But we can’t do this work alone.
That’s why our in-country staff helps governments, churches, and other community groups build capacity for family-based care. Through these strong collaborations, we advise on the delivery of successful family services for orphans and vulnerable children.
Humanitarian and refugee work
Refugees and displaced people experience great challenges and often need mental health and psychosocial support. Bethany provides guidance, technical training, and workshops to organizations, churches, government agencies, and host communities.
We also actively participate in government and international task forces to educate those in leadership about the importance of protecting displaced adults and children and actions to take during humanitarian emergencies.
