Aaron and Holly - Little Rock, Arkansas
Dear Birthparent(s),
Hello! We are Aaron and Holly and we are so thankful that you reading our letter and that you want to find out about our family. First of all we want to say that we cannot imagine all of the emotions, confusion and thoughts that you must be experiencing at this time in your life. We also know that you probably never expected to have to make such a life-changing decision. However, we want you to know that God loves you and he will lead you in the direction that he has chosen for you and your child. We sincerely hope that this gives you some comfort and peace in your life because he has the perfect plan for all of us! You give us great pleasure and a sense of hope in that without your act of kindness, unselfishness and courage, we would never have the opportunity to be blessed with God’s perfect gift... a child. We would love nothing more than to be blessed with another child and you can rest assured that we will provide a lifetime of unconditional love, devotion and happiness for your child!
Our Life Together
We met sixteen years ago when we were just young teenagers. Now, we have been married for eleven years. After being married for about two years, we knew we were ready to start our family. However, we never imagined what was in store for us. We tried to conceive a child for two years before finally being sent to a fertility doctor. Then after a year of regular visitations, heartaches and several attempts to becoming pregnant, we decided that this must not be the will of God. We were both favorable to the idea of adopting and during treatments had already been considering it. Aaron’s sister and her husband had adopted a daughter and was in the process of adopting a son. We knew how much love we had for them and that there was absolutely no difference between them and our other nieces and nephews. So, just a few months after our fertility treatments and after searching and praying for the will of God to be revealed to us, we soon knew that adoption was the way that God intended for us to create our family! We shortly began our adoption process with Bethany! After about four months, we completed everything necessary to become a waiting family. We were so very excited to finally have a chance to become a mommy and daddy! However, we were still a little nervous but, we had faith that God would bless us with a child! Then, only nine short weeks later, we got a life-changing phone call. Bethany called to tell us that we had been chosen and that our baby was to be born soon! I cannot begin to describe to you the emotions that we felt that day. We were totally overwhelmed with joy and excitement! It was a day that we will never forget! We instantly thanked God that he had led a birth mother to us! Three weeks later, we were blessed with a healthy, beautiful and perfect little girl and we named her Katy Grace!

Aaron is a very compassionate, unselfishness, kind, caring, calm, steady and thoughtful person! He unconditionally loves his little girl and is a good daddy and husband! He would do anything to help people. He went to work in our family owned business right out of high school. He and his dad now share the responsibility of operating the business. We recently completed the construction of a new business in which they will operate as well. Aaron is an extremely talented person. He takes care of all of the welding, maintenance, mechanics, engineering, and repairs of the business. He can engineer, repair and build anything. When Aaron is not working or with his family, he enjoys going fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. Aaron is a devoted husband and father and he cherishes his family and always puts us first in his life! . He is so very excited about becoming a daddy again and can’t wait until the day the he is blessed with another child!
All about Holly (by Aaron)
Holly is a beautiful person inside and out! She is sweet, outgoing, family oriented, fun, kind, nurturing and very thoughtful. Above this, she is an extremely devoted, caring and loving wife and mother. She never meets a stranger. She graduated college in 2002 with a degree in early childhood education. Then she began teaching first grade at an elementary school in her hometown. She taught there until 2004 when our beautiful baby girl was born. She then fulfilled her life long dream and was able to stay at home with Katy.
Katy recently turned five years old and is enrolled in preschool, so Holly now works three days a week at our family owned business where she does all of our bookkeeping. However, when we are blessed with another child, she plans on becoming a stay-at-home mommy once again. When she has some spare time, she enjoys scrap booking, exercising and gardening. However, her favorite thing to do is to be a mommy and a wife and devote herself to her family! She prays everyday that God will bless us with another precious child because, she says that being a mommy is the best job in the whole wide world!
All about Katy
Katy is five years old and is full of life! She has such a sweet disposition and is such a happy little girl. She loves to sing, dance, play outside, color, paint, play dress-up, ride the 4-wheeler with daddy, spend time with grandparents, bake cookies with mommy, watch classic movies, play with her cousins, go on vacations and read books. Katy always has a smile on her face!
She prays every night that God will give her a baby brother or sister. Anytime that we see a baby, her little face lights up and she instantly asks if she can play with the baby. Although Katy is too young to understand everything about adoption, she knows that she is adopted and that her brother or sister will be also! We frequently talk with her about adoption and what a special person that her birth mother is! Katy is a very caring , tender-hearted and thoughtful and she will make a terrific big sister!
All about our family
I(Holly) am very close to my parents. My mom lives on the same street as we do and I talk to her everyday and we see her and my step-dad several times throughout the week. She has always been my rock. As a child and even now, I know that she is always ready to be there for me. My mom is a terrific Gran to her grandchildren and she adores her family and wants to spend as much time as possible with us. We try to set aside each Saturday morning to have coffee and we almost always have Sunday dinner together at her house after Church. My dad also lives nearby and I talk to him almost everyday and see him several times a week. He has always been a very loving and supportive father and great Pops too! He is always doing things for me and the grandchildren. He loves to take us camping and to spend time together as a family. I have one brother and he lives a couple miles away. He has three daughters and they spend a lot of time with us. They love to stay the night at our house, go places and do things with us and play with Katy. They tell us all of the time that they cannot wait to have another little cousin! My grandparents live about a mile away and we visit them as often as we can and we enjoy spending holidays at their home along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
I (Aaron) have a special relationship with my parents and family. I work with my dad everyday at our business and we have a special bond. I am also close to my mother and she has always put God and her family first in her life. My parents love to spend time with their kids and grandchildren and are a wonderful Poppy and Nana. We usually take a family vacation together each year and we are constantly doing things with them. I have one sister that lives in another state about eight hours away. She has three children. Two of her children are adopted and one is biological. They are fabulous kids! We try to see them every three months or so and talk to them on the phone often. We also spend almost every holiday together and they join us on family vacations with along with Nana and Poppy. My grandparents live about fifteen miles away and we see them quite a bit. My granny lives about the same distance and cooks supper for the family every Saturday night. She has done this for almost thirty years. It is a family tradition!
We truly have been blessed with wonderful families and we thank God for them! They are a big part of our lives and are extremely important to us. We love to spend time with them and they do us too. They are so supportive and encouraging about adoption and they too understand that there is no difference and that all children are a gift from God! Our parents are so anxious to become grandparents again. Our nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins, grandparents and friends are so thrilled and can’t wait until the day that another precious child can be added to our family. You can have peace in knowing that your child will be welcomed with open arms and warm hearts from everyone in our family!
Our prayer and Hope
We pray that God’s love will surround you and give you peace through this difficult time in your life. We know that God has the perfect plan for all of us so, we pray that you will seek the Lord’s guidance and allow him to lead you to the family that he has chosen for your child. If we are that family, we can promise that we will always be devoted parents and we will dedicate or life to being his/her mommy and daddy! Thank you for choosing to learn about our lives and remember that you are continually in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Aaron, Holly and Katy Grace
