Welcome to the Lithuania adoption program. Growing your family through intercountry adoption is an incredible journey, and we consider it a privilege to work with you. The Lithuania team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is committed to providing you with the resources you will need.
Our team is dedicated to the children in Lithuania, and to you, the adoptive family. We know that this is not always an easy journey, but we hope that your adoption experience will have a powerfully positive impact on your life.
Our Lithuania adoption program began in 2001. The adoptable children in Lithuania range in age from 2 to 15 years with and without identified special needs. The available children include relatively healthy children with minor or correctable needs, sibling groups, and children with special placement needs. Those with special placement needs may qualify as
Special Needs Waiting Children. The children may have some developmental or institutionalized delays. All children reside in orphanages or foster homes until the completion of their adoption.
