Bill and Andrea - Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Dear Birthparent(s),

Thank you for taking time to learn about us. We pray for your direction and protection at this time in your life. Please read on and see all the love and fun we can offer your child or children. We would love to adopt a boy or girl or even twins!

We have been married for seven wonderful years. Both of us waited a long time for the right person to come along. We made life-long commitments to each other with a covenant marriage and are committed to training our kids in God’s ways; for us that means that love and respect are top priorities in our family. We are committed to enjoying life together, raising Godly children and living wisely.

In February 2004 we were blessed with the birth of a beautiful boy. William is 5 years old and loves to read and play! He especially likes foosball and air hockey, basement hockey, golf, and being outside. He seems to always have a song in his heart. William is quiet, gentle, and thoughtful and he is looking forward to being a big brother.

Our Family Life
We live in South Dakota where Bill works in the healthcare industry and Andrea is a full-time mom. We enjoy our family time together. We love to play board games (especially on “Family Fun Nights”), swim, hike, go for walks, ride bikes or walk to the park, read together, enjoy music together, watch sporting events, play golf (William is taking summer lessons), play tennis, go to the library and go on family field trips.

We are committed to providing the best possible education for all our children. We have chosen to home school William at this time in our lives and will re-assess his progress on an annual basis. Since time with other kids is so important, we belong to a home school co-op and schedule regular times each week with William’s friends (play visits, gym and swim time, golf and tennis, Wednesday and Sunday church classes). We all enjoy the learning time together.

We love to travel as a family. Each winter we enjoy a trip to our Arizona vacation home and we enjoy camping trips during the summer months. We visit our families in North Dakota, Arizona and Florida whenever possible. We also make it a priority to get away somewhere each year to someplace special as a family. Some of our more recent favorite travels have been a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands, a trip to Disney World and a trip to the Florida Keys. Each year brings new travel adventures!

Our Extended Family
Our extended families and church friends have helped us grow and become better spouses and parents. We are grateful for the fun times we spend together. Our parents are still living and love to spend time with William and dote on him whenever possible! William also looks forward to fun times with Bill’s brother and Andrea’s sister. Everyone eagerly awaits the growth of our family!

About Andrea (by Bill):
Andrea is a tender, sensitive, and faithful companion. She left a very successful career as a technical editor/writer and wedding photographer so she could be home full time with our children. She is very creative and organized, which helps her as a home school teacher and mother! She loves taking pictures, baking bread and cookies, scrapbooking with friends, attending women’s Bible Studies, planning events and trips, relaxing in the sun, and making our home a place we enjoy. She has many talents including singing, and playing hand bells, ice-skating and rollerblading, and playing golf. Andrea loves being a mommy and spending time with us.

About Bill (by Andrea):
Bill is a loving husband and awesome daddy. When daddy is home it is time to play! Above all, Bill loves our Lord Jesus Christ and his love of our Savior flows to our family. Bill works at a local hospital when in SD and does more fill-in type work while in AZ. Bill is a loving husband and a dedicated father. Bill loves the Lord and seeks to follow him and lead our house by His example. We enjoy time with our very thoughtful and fun daddy!

Why do we want to adopt?
We want to adopt children for several reasons. First, we have realized that our son is a special gift from God to us, and we desire to nurture and cherish more children. Second, we have been unable to bear more children naturally. Third, we believe that God desires to give us more children and is in favor of adoption. Our hearts are open and prepared to love and care for more children!

We hope this gives you a small glimpse of who we are. May God bless you as you continue down this unselfish path of finding a home for the precious child or children you caring for.

Our love to you and your family,
Bill, Andrea and William
