Adrian and Christine - Newark, Delaware

We are so excited about the prospect of adopting your baby and raising him or her in a loving and caring home. Please know that we will be the most loving and caring parents you could ever wish for to care for your baby. We know that God has the perfect child in mind for us, just as He has the perfect parents in mind for your baby. We trust and believe that your child is in God’s hands whomever you may choose. Christine and I have been married now for ten years, and came to realize last year that God’s plan for our family was through adoption. We are very active in our local church and assure you that your child will be raised in a loving and caring Christian home. We continue to pray for you even now and respect the tremendous decisions you have had to make in the past few months. We are proud of you and are honored to be considered to raise your child.

Adrian’s Story
I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina in a small town called Goldsboro. I grew up in a wonderful family with five brothers and one sister. I was a late life baby as my mother was 44 when I was born, but it only made for an interesting family life. I was raised in church, and am so very thankful for the Christian mother and father God gave to me. My parents have been married for 65 years and still love on each other to this day. I am thankful for the example I was given, now more than ever. I love playing racquetball, landscape photography, and anything to do with computers. I am addicted to electronics, but it makes me very useful around the house and at work. I love kids, but my wife reminds me it is probably because I act very similar to them.

Christine’s Story
I was born in Charlotte, NC into a dedicated Christian family. My brother and I were raised in the church where my mother and father were married. We were in attendance whenever the doors were opened and were taught integrity, commitment and faith in God. My parents were happily married for 31 years before my mother suddenly passed away in 1997. I had a wonderful example of family and parenting, as well as the sanctity of marriage. Since then my father has remarried a family friend who also lost her husband to cancer around the same time as my mother’s passing. Two families were blended into one and I suddenly gained two new brothers that I had already known for several years. I am a partner in a successful Interior Design business and enjoy spending time with my husband and my dogs. Adrian and I enjoy biking together and traveling as often as possible. I enjoy decorating our home, playing piano, and hanging out with our friends.

Our story
(Adrian) In 2004, the U.S. Air Force brought me and Christine to Delaware and so began the next chapter of our lives here in Dover. We really like the area because of its proximity to the big cities, but with the small town feel. I spend my time playing racquetball with my neighbor, am a novice drummer, and picked up the bass guitar while I was overseas playing for the Chapel services. I am also involved in our church with singing, running the projector, and participating in the Christmas and Easter productions. Another interest is flying, which I was able to finish the ground school for a private pilot license and really enjoyed the few times I was able to fly. (Christine) When I first arrived into Delaware I was working freelance for my previous employer designing automotive car seat fabric. But in 2006, two friends of mine from church and I started an Interior Design and Property Staging Business. It has been an awesome yet challenging first two years. They are so ready to help me design the nursery. The one thing I love about my business partners is that we have always said family comes first. Adrian mentioned our neighbors earlier, but I would be remising if I didn’t talk about them a little more. They are the greatest! We met them at our church when we first moved to Dover. Pam and Bobby both have huge hearts and have become an extension of our own family. In addition to their own children, they have a pretty big household, including Bobby’s sister as well as her two children. They say it takes a village to raise a child. It is very assuring to me to know I have all these Godly mentors to assist and advise us during times of uncertainty.

We truly hope you have enjoyed getting to know us and ask that you prayerfully consider us when it comes time to decide who you are going to give the privilege of raising your baby. Know that we are continually praying for you and the decisions in your future. We cannot begin to convey how excited we are about adopting your baby and giving him or her a safe and loving home.
