Hannah Faith

Hannah Faith is
the greatest blessing
I’ve ever received
and the greatest gift
I’ve ever given.

As much as it devastated me to make an adoption plan for my baby, I knew that adoption was the best thing I could possibly do for her. My daughter will be loved not only by her adoptive family, but when she’s ready, she’ll get to know her birthfamily too.

I wanted an open adoption because I need to know my daughter’s parents. I wanted to make sure that when she asked questions about me, her parents would be able to answer them with answers that I had given.

Mike and Cheryl (the adoptive parents) and I knew without a doubt that we were meant for each other. They not only love me for what I have done for them, but for who I am.

I wanted them to be able to be as involved in the birth experience as possible. Mike and Chery l saw the ultrasounds, and Cheryl was my birthing coach. She actually saw her daughter being born, and she even cut the cord. I wanted the bonding to begin with Hannah as soon as possible.

I look forward to getting pictures and letters from my daughter’s amazing parents, and I know that she will grow
to be healthy and strong in God. I can’t think of a better gift for me than the fact that I don’t ever worry about Hannah.
What greater peace could there be? I’ve seen her neighborhood, her home, and her bedroom.

Together we decided to give Hannah the middle name “Faith” because it means so much to all of us. I have faith
that I’m doing what was meant for her, and they had faith for more than ten years that they would be blessed with
a beautiful child.

Hannah Faith is the greatest blessing I’ve ever received and the greatest gift I’ve ever given. I still can’t quite believe that I’ve been so blessed to have given such a wonderful couple the greatest blessing and joy of their lives.

I couldn’t have asked for a more blessed and amazing adoption experience.
