Bethany believes that children grow best in families. Whenever possible, we work to reunite families or encourage in-country adoption before placing a child through intercountry adoption. Since 1982, Bethany has found permanent families in the United States for more than 11,000 children growing up in orphanages in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean. Our International Sponsorship program reflects our dedication to improving the lives of children currently in orphanages.
